“Advance Thanksgiving powered by FAITH in the MERCY of GOD!”
This is how JCTGBTG welcomed 2025! With a heart full of gratitude for the goodness of God in the past year, and with loud praise as a symbol of thanks for the endless mercy God has poured out on us. We praise the Lord not only for the things we have achieved, received, and experienced, but for our hearts rooted in knowing His faithfulness and our faith in His divine power over all our lives.
The way the Israelites gave thanks through praise when the foundation of their temple was built is a great example of how we should do the same: singing responsively in praise and thanksgiving to God, weeping with a loud voice, and sounding the trumpet as a sign of victory.
