“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Luke 2:14 NKJV
A promise of peace was spoken when Jesus Christ was born. Yet, with the turmoil in the world, peace seems nowhere to be found. This is because true peace comes with having Jesus Christ in our lives. We are like sheep—vulnerable and naive—seeking shelter, rest, and comfort. Jesus Christ is our Shepherd, leading us to our pasture, where peace is not defined by the noise of the “werewolves” of this chaotic world.
Let us always seek Jesus Christ, for it is through His Holy Presence in our lives that we can find true peace—peace that the world can never provide.
